This practice-based exercise is designed to test your ability to identify microphones, both by technical characteristic & functional use. Additionally you are to demonstrate competence in set-up & professional handling of microphones. The default scenario is for this to take place in a studio environment under direct supervision from the Assessor.
Given scenario:
Record the performance of a singer with his acoustic guitar with the given microphones:
- 1 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
- 2 Small Diaphragm Condensers Microphones
- 1 Dynamic Microphone
Also make sure to use any Stereo Miking Technique for the acoustic guitar, and having one mic as a room/ambient microphone.
