A working knowledge of the type and application of both microphones and signal processing equipment is important to an audio engineer’s development. This unit introduces students to the underlying theoretical principles and practical applications of microphones. Students are also introduced to signal processing equipment and applications, specifically equalisation and dynamic processors.
